What is Weaving+?

The Weaving+ is a new limited edition product series launched by PITAKA in 2023. It originated from the "Weave the Next" playoff last year, a collision of ideas regarding phone case design. Beyond our classic design, the Weaving+ series presents brand-new vitality and artistic expression by weaving high-performance materials in a new way to make cases more creative and possible in pixel art form.

Moon Wandering Bundle Kit

To pay homage to the moon landing and celebrate International Moon Day falling on July 20, Weaving+ limited edition [Moon Wandering] took inspiration from the spacecraft Apollo 11, which represents our curiosity about the boundless universe and courage to explore the unknown. Let’s be a stargazer who never stops thinking, a traveler who keeps walking, and a dreamer who breaks through the boundary in this challenging age.

Pixel Art

We designed the Moon Wandering case in the pixel art form, where individual pixels serve as the building blocks that make up the image of a spacecraft, giving it a unique visual style and aesthetics.

Fusion Weaving & Pixel Jacquard Weaving

Using Fusion Weaving and jacquard weaving techniques, low-fidelity and rough color blocks appear on aramid fiber fabrics to form an intricate pattern.

The Warrior

Armed with a sword and shield, the brave and upright warrior, looking for the legendary power of truth, embarks on an adventure with his companion.

The Elf

The Elf of Light is the warrior's most faithful companion during the journey. He can shed light with a healing effect. And he will transform into a shadow when frightened.

Pixel Art

Pixel art is a great form to showcase nostalgic style and unique aesthetics. The application of 8-bit pixel art makes the pixel game pattern simple and bright with a retro style.

Fusion Weaving & Pixel Jacquard Weaving

Using Fusion Weaving™ and jacquard weaving techniques, low-fidelity and rough color blocks appear on aramid fiber fabrics to showcase the game pattern.

Jacquard is a concave-convex pattern composed of interlaced warp and weft. The pixel pattern on the front requires another layer of silk threads crisscrossing on the back. So the jacquard pattern has an inconsistent front and back (as shown in the picture below).
