2019 finally marks another great year for Apple after they unveiled their best iPhones yet on the 10th of September. The event had been eagerly awaited by both fans and critics all over the world. A lot of expectations had been expressed on various social media platforms before the release, and to some extent, most were confirmed. The tri-released iPhone 11 series will be available for pre-order worldwide from the 13th of September, that is, from 8 pm, same day, here at Singapore.
Shipping of all pre-ordered phones will however not start until the 20th of the same month. The timing is just right with expected prices looking great, especially for the standard iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be a bit more expensive, given that they are the premium versions of the series. All pre-orders will be available online on the official Apple website.
Here in Singapore, the three leading telco companies are M1, Starhub and Singtel. Singtel and M1 already have their registration pages up where Apple users can make their interest registrations as they pre-order the new iPhone 11 and the Pro counterparts. However. Only Starhub has its contract prices online.
In a quick summary, the iPhone 11 will be available at $587 with a $50 per month payment plan for two years. iPhone 11 Pro will start at $1042 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max at $1,181 with the same payment plan. You can see the other plans available at the Starhub official website. M1 and Singtel might have their prices along the same lines as well for competition sake.
As in other countries in the world, the iPhone 11 is expected to arrive in the market from the 20th of September as much as it is available for pre-order seven days earlier. Some of the most prominent features include the metallic design, that is aluminium for iPhone 11 and stainless steel for the premium phones. Aside from the body material, the most captivating feature for the three phones is the new camera square grid design at the back top left. Also, the phones will be available in new colours, that is purple, green and yellow for the iPhone 11 with iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max taking the gold, black, silver and midnight green colours.
The standard iPhone 11 is said to be the cheapest iPhone to be released over the years, making it quite affordable to the brand's consumers. It was only logic to make the other two phones pricier given that they have more advanced features in selected specs. Generally, now that you have an idea of the prices from one of the three major Telco providers in Singapore, you can estimate a general expectation for whichever choice you decide to buy.
